One of the best things about this small city that folks either LOVE or HATE.
Personally, I love it. I have taken my kids to these events for years!
The 1st is a fishing derby. The lake is stocked with fish and the kids get a fishing pole and tackle box! Generally, a hot dog/brat lunch is provided. This is a great way to come out and spend 10 well spent bucks!
VERY IMPORTANT: This event fills up very quickly. registration starts today (feb 4,2015)
The 2nd activity was always done with my daughter. We have been to the Daddy/Daughter dance for at least 4 or 5 years. It is a good time for dads and daughters to get dressed up, do a little dancing (Macarena,Chicken dance) and for dads to do some break dancing. Ticket info is below.
