Maricopa NEW builds have some very Unique features buyers aren’t aware of..

One more common myth is that using a Buyer's agent, costs you any money. It doesn't. The seller pays any commission due to the agent, but with builders, your buyer agent needs to be with you on your 1st visit to be able to represent you.

NOW---- For the unique homes

Back in 2006-2009, Many Maricopa homes that were built were pretty large, I can name at least 7 floorplans that were over 3000sqft. One of the unique floorplans were basement homes in Cobblestone. DRHorton built large 3500+sqft homes with semi-circular staircases to the 2nd floor, and Hacienda homes built Tri-level homes in Rancho, Alterra and the Villages.

From 2009-2015, all of the builders that are still construction are focusing on your standard single or 2 story 1500-2500sqft. All great homes, but not much to blog about until now!

Here comes 2015, with

  1. Maricopa's 1st gated community that is not age restricted. That's right! A gated community in Maricopa, perfect for the many snowbirds and families that want to live in a gated community. It is finally here and homes are selling fast.
  2. We have a builder that has a floorplan with an attached "apartment". Looking the the fromt og the house you see the main entrance, look at the right side of the picture. It is obscured but it's there. There is a second door which is the apartment entrance. Inside the apartment is a living area, kitchen, bedroom and Master bedroom!

3. Here is my favorite: A single or 2 story home with a 2 car garage, that has an OPTIONAL detached 3rd car garage AND a workshop (not a handyman, maybe a man/woman cave NOTE: The optional detached structure can be made either a 2 car garage or a 1 car garage with shop/mancave.  I found this very unique to have a home with a double gate that I could drive my car or quad into my back yard garage!

I thought this would be hard to explain, so I grabbed a picture of it from the back yard gate. Hope this helps
