The last half of 2014 has been slow. There are plenty of homes in the Maricopa & Phoenix Metro area market. Many more homes than there are buyers!
While it is true there are major holidays in November and December, the "regular" weeks of those months were slow too...
August, September and October were also pretty slow.
More and more out of state tags are on the highways now... They are here, but will they buy this year?
The good news is that based on historical data, showing activity will increase the 1st week of January and will start to trend upward for the 1st half of the year!
Two items to notice on the chart below.
1. Notice the average number of showings Sept-December than compare with Jan-June 2014!
2. Notice the pretty imaginary line going up and to the right for the next 5 months!
